SUMMARY OF WORKSHOP PROCESS
Welcome to the transformative journey of Rare Method, a path to rediscover your authentic self, tap into your innate wisdom and reclaim a true sense of presence and connection with life, others and with yourself.
In this workshop you will walk through the Rare Equation. You’ll explore how to Reconnect with your body, Audit your inner landscape, Recalibrate your energetic state, and ultimately Embody your authentic self. This is a process you can come back to again and again to shift your state for transformation on and off your mat.
When to use this workshop:
- When feeling activated by fear, doubt, anxiety, indecision, insecurity
- When frustrated by encountering the same problem or outcome again and again
- When looking to shift an aspect of your life
- When pursuing something new – internally or externally
- When feeling uncomfortable, or curious
HOW TO PREPARE
Space. If you can, designate a private space for yourself while digging into this workshop. You can get elaborate with creating an altar or keep it simple: couch, blanket, tea. Headphones can create a layer of privacy if physical privacy is not an option for you.
Gear. The goods to get you going:
- Computer, tablet or mobile device – your choice!
- Audio player: headphones, speaker, phone, computer. Your choice!
- Pen & paper. Studies have shown that writing versus typing can have a deeper effect on the brain. However, if working with pen & paper is not your style – work with what work best for you!
- Yoga mat
- Meditation cushion or seat *optional
- Yoga blocks *optional
HOw & when to Use
Schedule. Designate a time of day that works best for you. When you’re least likely to get distracted. Personally, mornings are best for me. It’s the quietest part of my day and my mind and body feel most refreshed and open.
Timing. This workshop is meant to be adaptable to your needs and schedule. You can opt to space out the workshop sections throughout the course of a week, or settle in for a full day or weekend of digging in – like a personal retreat.
Tech tips
Rare Method is programmed for desktop and mobile view use. The lessons aren’t downloadable but here’s a pro-tip: disconnect to reconnect for the journaling pieces. Grab a screenshot of the content so you can read and journal anywhere – forest, airplane, bus, spa, dessert, beach, poolside, bathtub…
